WADA Prohibited List

Annual list published by the World Anti-Doping Agency classifying substances and methods banned in sport.

For laboratory and research use only — not for human consumption.

The WADA Prohibited List is updated each January and is binding on athletes covered by the World Anti-Doping Code. Categories relevant to research peptides include S0 (Non-Approved Substances — covers BPC-157, AC-SDKP, many novel research peptides), S2 (Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics — covers TB-500, thymosin beta-4, AOD-9604 by interpretation), and S4 (Hormone and Metabolic Modulators). 'Non-approved substance' status is the catch-all under which any pharmacologically active substance without current marketing authorisation is prohibited. Possession for research use is not regulated by WADA; administration to athletes is.
